Hypnotherapy at Bridgeham with Becky Wells

Becky uses a combination of therapies to help individuals and groups overcoming limited beliefs, fear, phobias and many other issues. There are different types of hypnotherapy, and different ways of hypnotising someone. You will initially have a chat with your therapist to discuss what you hope to achieve and talk about methods used.

Some of the techniques used:


  • lead you into a deeply relaxed state
  • hypnosis usually involves the person experiencing a sense of deep relaxation with their attention narrowed down, and focused on appropriate suggestions as instructed by the therapist
  • You're fully in control when under hypnosis and don't have to take on the therapist's suggestions if you don't want to.

If necessary, you can bring yourself out of the hypnotic state.

Important: Hypnotherapy doesn't work if you don't want to be hypnotised.
