Foot Health at Bridgeham

A Foot Health Practitioner is trained to help you identify and deal with problems you may have with your feet.

Who might benefit from a foot health appointment?

Treatment can benefit people of any age. An ultra-marathon runner may seek treatment during training to ensure nail length and hard skin is managed to maximise comfort in the long training miles, whereas someone who has limited mobility may struggle to reach their feet for general maintenance. For many people, routine care and advice on their feet can prevent potential issues.

What else might you see a Foot Health Practitioner for?
  • Diabetic foot assessment and monitoring
  • Nail trimming
  • Reduction of thickened nails
  • Skin conditions
  • Corns
  • Callus
  • Verrucae
  • Athletes foot
  • In growing toenails
  • Fungal infections
  • Advice on home care and maintenance between appointments
