Can you believe summer’s already behind us? We're still smiling about our Pilates for Gardeners session at Heron’s Bonsai in August – it was such a lovely day. Stretching, moving, and laughing together surrounded by all those gorgeous bonsai trees… honestly, it felt a bit magical.

Now with Autumn creeping in, we’ve been thinking about how it’s really the season of letting go. Just like the leaves, it’s a good time to shed the old stuff – whether that’s niggly injuries, habits that aren’t serving us, or just the routines we’ve outgrown. Feels like the perfect excuse to make space for something new, doesn’t it? 🍂

🍂 Autumn Yoga Beginner’s Series 🍂
Autumn is a season of transition – a time to ground ourselves, let go of what we no longer need, and move with a little more intention. What better way to honour that than with yoga?
This Beginner’s Series is designed to give you a gentle, supportive introduction to yoga practice. Over 5 weeks, we’ll explore:
✨ Breathwork (Pranayama) – learning how to use your breath to calm the mind and energise the body.
✨ Foundational Asana (postures) – safe alignment, building strength, flexibility, and balance step by step.
✨ Mindfulness in movement – noticing how your body feels, moving with awareness, and cultivating presence.
✨ Relaxation & grounding – closing each class with practices to help you release tension and find stillness.

Each week, Selena will introduce one of the Wu Xing (Five Elements) from Chinese medicine — Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. These elements are linked with different organs, seasons, and emotions. Through meditation, breathwork, and guided Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep), you’ll explore how to restore balance within your body and mind.

Gentle breathwork and meditation to support the organs.
Exploration of the related emotion, season, and foods to nourish balance.
A long, deeply restorative Yoga Nidra practice to harmonise and relax.

Join Gordon this autumn and winter for our 8-week Pilates Plus Circuit Class, combining Mat and Reformer Machine exercises with weights and props for an extra challenge.
Each week focuses on a different Pilates principle, giving every session a clear theme and purpose. With a maximum of 4 participants per class, you’ll benefit from plenty of individual attention.
