National Simplicity Day

National Simplicity Day was created to unshackle people from the complications and hustle and bustle of daily life, and we believe that this also applies to our movement. Our Pilates for Gardeners online programme has now been launched. Incorporating the simplicity of movements and exercises. RAW SUMMER STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE RECEIPE

Something to watch Wimbledon with! Perfect for get-togethers; these are easy to make and easier to eat…

Ingredients (makes approximately 25)

2 cups oats10 dates1/2 cup honey1/2 cup cashews1/2 cup coconut powder(you can use shredded coconut, but coconut powder is finer and acts more like a flour here)Sliced fresh strawberries (for topping)

How to:

Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend / pulse until everything is well combined - it should have formed a ‘dough’ like substance. Roll the mixture firmly into a ball.

Roll the ball of ‘dough’ out to about 1 cm thick and cut with a cookie cutter or the top of a glass.


Top each ‘cake’ with slices strawberries and either eat straight away or store in the fridge for about half an hour to cool
