• Osteopathy

• Massage

• Pilates

WORLD OSTEOPATHIC HEALTH WEEK

Hip pain is one of the most common things we see in clinic and it’s so often misunderstood.

Many people assume hip pain automatically means arthritis.

But in reality, the hip is a busy, hardworking area and pain can come from lots of different places.

Research continues to show that hip symptoms don’t just come from the joint itself. They can come from tendons, muscles, bursae, the lower back, or even irritated nerves. In other words… the hip is rarely a simple story.

And that matters, because the cause of pain determines the right treatment.

We regularly see hip pain linked to:

• Tendon overload or injury

• Bursitis

• Muscle strain

• Labral irritation or tears

• Nerve irritation

• Referred pain from the lower back

• And yes sometimes arthritis too

Hip osteoarthritis itself is also more complex than people realise. For some people the pain is mainly tissue-based; for others, the nervous system becomes involved as well. This is why a personalised approach is so important.

At Bridgeham Clinic, we never jump straight to assumptions.

Your first appointment is all about understanding the full picture of how your hip moves, how your body compensates, what aggravates it, and what it needs to recover.

Our goal is simple:

help you move more comfortably, sleep better, exercise confidently and get back to doing the things you love.

If hip pain is affecting your daily life, this is your sign to stop guessing and get clarity.

We’re here when you’re ready.

Testimonial Prize Draw Winner!

Here is what Mrs. T said about her Bridgeham experience:

I’ve been seeing Eva for about 18 months and wanted to

say just how amazing she is.

Eva has helped me with a complicated set of injuries picked up from marathon training, she’s helped me to understand my body enough to avoid injuries and work with the injuries I have. She's a patient listener and creates a supportive environment to explore ‘what’s going on’.

Eva is my ‘go-to’ when I feel any niggles.

Thank you Eva

If you haven't already given us a testimonial then why not write one on Google, Facebook, or by email. You too could then be in with a chance to win a £50 treatment voucher!

See you in the clinic soon…you’ve got to be in it to win it!
