Local osteopath wins National Award

Local osteopath Trevor Strutt, director of Bridgeham Clinic in Crawley, was awarded the accolade of ‘Principal of the Year’ by his profession.The award, which is made by the Institute of Osteopathy, recognises best practice in osteopathy and was presented to Trevor for his leadership at the clinic together with his commitment to patients and the community.Judged by an independent panel of experts, Maurice Cheng, Chief Executive at the Institute said of Trevor’s nomination:“It was Trevor’s work in mentoring the team at the Bridgeham Clinic and sharing his years of experience that particularly resonated with the judges. It was clear from his nomination that he spends considerable time and effort developing practitioner skills and patient care to create a clinic which provides a fully integrated pathway to health for their patients.”Bridgeham clinic was established in 1993 by Trevor and his wife Jo. Along with running the clinic both are active members of the Ifield community and St Margaret Church. Trevor is on the committee for the Ifield Mayfayre and District Church Council and Jo is Treasurer of Ifield Village Association.Along with a team of five osteopaths Bridgeham clinic has expert therapists delivering Pilates, sports and remedial massage, a personal trainer, and a nutritionist, in an effort to provide the best health for their patients.
