What is Knee Pain
Knee pain can be experienced in and around the knee, above, below and behind it. A more specific location can help to identify the cause of the pain, but this is not always the case. It may also be accompanied with swelling and decreased mobility.
How Bridgeham can help with knee Pain?
At Bridgeham, we are experienced in diagnosing and treating knee pain. With knee pain, we advise you to start your recovery by seeing one of our Osteopaths.
At your first appointment, your Osteopath will give you a diagnosis: explaining what is causing the pain and why it may have started. In this session, they will also treat the knee. Advice will be given to aid the recovery process including stretches and exercises.
A treatment plan will be established to achieve long term relief by addressing the factors that may be causing it. The treatment plan will utilise the services which are the best for your recovery – including osteopathy, massage, acupuncture, Pilates, personal training including referral for imaging if required, MRI, X ray or ultrasound.
“I came thinking I might have the problem in my knee for good and that driving would always be a painful experience. However, after just one visit Kamilla successfully diagnosed and fixed the problem. I now feel so much better.” Mr M
